Friendly Nigerian Dwarf Goats for Sale in Mountainburg, Arkansas
At Silver Dragon Ranch, our goats are raised as part of the family. Every day they're handled, cuddled, and loved by three generations of us. As a result, our goats are gentle, people-friendly, and ready to become part of your family too.
Nigerian Dwarf goats are small (about the size of a medium dog), playful, and easy to love. They're a great fit for families, small homesteads, 4-H kids, and anyone who wants a backyard companion with a big personality.

Frequently Asked Questions
How big do Nigerian Dwarf goats get?
Adults usually stand about 17-23 inches at the shoulder and weigh around 60-75 lbs.
Can I have just one goat?
Please don't. Goats are herd animals and get lonely and stressed on their own. A pair is happiest.
Which makes the best pet?
Doelings make the sweetest pets. Intact bucklings are best for people planning to breed.
What do I need before bringing goats home?
A dry, draft-free shelter, sturdy fencing, hay, fresh water, loose goat minerals, and a buddy goat.
Do you disbud?
No. We raise our goats naturally. Goats without horns were born naturally polled; the others keep their natural horns.
Are the kids bottle-fed?
Only when they have to be. Our kids are raised by their mothers: they nurse all day, are separated at night, and the moms are milked each morning.
Can I visit before I buy?
Yes! We offer free farm visits by appointment. Come meet the goats, the llamas, and our family.
Do you ever take goats back?
If your situation changes, please call us first. We'll help you rehome your goat or take it back if we're able to.
What's the ministry connection?
Sales of goats and our goat milk products help fund free visits to local communities. Thank you for being part of it.
